Bookings, scheduling and payments

Let people book you and pay you without you being involved

Booking and payment journeys for service businesses, built so a client can find a slot on their phone at nine at night, pay for it, and turn up. No back and forth, and no chasing.

The problem

Most missed bookings are lost to friction, not to competitors

Somebody looked at your page, could not see when you were free, decided to message you later, and forgot. That is the most common way a service business loses work, and it is almost entirely fixable with a booking journey that answers the question on the spot.

  • 01

The evening enquiry. Most people look for a service outside working hours. If the only route is a form, they are waiting until tomorrow to find out if you are free, and half of them will not.

  • 02

The no show. A slot booked without payment is a slot somebody feels able to abandon. Taking a deposit at the point of booking changes the behaviour.

  • 03

The admin tail. Confirmations, reminders, rescheduling and receipts. Not difficult, but relentless, and it is eating your evenings.

What we set up

The pieces, and only the ones you need

Most businesses need three or four of these. We would rather set up less and have it work than set up everything and have you fighting it.

Online booking

Your real availability, visible on a phone, bookable in under a minute. Services, durations, buffers and the hours you actually want to work.

Payments and deposits

Take the full amount or a deposit at the point of booking, through a proper payment provider. Money reaches your account, not ours.

Reminders and confirmations

Automatic confirmation on booking and a reminder before the appointment, by email or text. The single biggest reduction in no shows.

Multiple staff or locations

Separate calendars, different services per person, and routing so a client books the right practitioner without needing to understand your rota.

Rescheduling and cancellations

Clients move their own appointments within rules you set, so a change does not become a conversation you have to have.

Knowing what is working

Which services get booked, when the gaps are, and how many people start a booking and give up. Enough to make a decision, not a dashboard you never open.

How it works

Three steps, and you see the cost before you commit

No discovery phase you have to pay for before you know what anything costs.

01

A conversation

Half an hour, free. How you take bookings now, what goes wrong, and what you would want a client to experience instead.

02

A written proposal

What we would set up, what it would cost and how long it should take. One page, plain English, no jargon.

03

Set up and handover

We build it, you test it with a real booking, then we show you how to change your own hours and prices.

How we approach it

We would rather configure something proven than build you something bespoke

There are good booking platforms already. Most of the value is in setting one up properly around how your business actually runs, connecting it to your site and your payment provider, and making the journey short enough that people finish it. Bespoke is the answer occasionally, and we will say so when it is.

If a client has to think about how your booking page works, you have already lost some of them.

Common questions

The things people ask before they ring

Mostly about cost and about how much of it they will have to manage themselves.

How much does this cost?
It depends on how many services and staff you have and what you already use. You will get a written price before any work starts, and if it is more than you wanted to spend we will look at a smaller version rather than quietly stretching the budget.
Will there be ongoing fees?
Usually a subscription to whichever booking platform we set up, and the payment provider takes their percentage per transaction. Both are yours, in your name, and we will show you the numbers before you commit to anything.
I already use a booking system. Can you just fix it?
Often, and that is normally cheaper than moving. We will look at what you have and tell you honestly whether it is worth keeping.
Can clients pay a deposit rather than the full amount?
Yes, and for most service businesses that is the right setting. Enough that people turn up, not so much that they hesitate to book.
What if I need to change my hours?
You change them yourself, in a couple of taps. Anything you are likely to change regularly is something we make sure you can do without us.
