For organisations that need experienced people

Senior practitioners, ready now. No bench, no filler.

ChangeFluent is a network of senior independent practitioners in product, delivery, data and AI. We assemble a team for the problem, and when the problem is smaller, the team is smaller. You get experience, not availability.

The model

Why a network instead of a consultancy

Consultancies with a permanent bench have to keep it billing. That pressure shapes everything: scopes get padded, juniors get placed on work they cannot do, and engagements get extended because ending them is a revenue problem.

A network has no bench. We carry no overhead that needs filling, so we have no reason to oversell, understaff or hang around. The person in your stand up is the person we told you about, and the team scales to the work rather than to a utilisation target.

How it works

From conversation to delivery in four steps

We would rather you commit in stages than sign up for a year to find out whether we are any good.

01

Frame

A short conversation to understand the problem, the constraints and what good looks like. Free, and usually about thirty minutes.

02

Propose

A written proposal setting out who we would place, what it would cost and how we would measure progress. No surprise fees.

03

Deliver

Named practitioners matched to the role. Progress reported against the outcomes agreed in step one, not against hours logged.

04

Hand over

Documentation, knowledge transfer and a support tail. We plan for leaving from the start, not as an afterthought.

What you get

The things that usually go wrong, handled

Most of what frustrates clients about suppliers is not the work itself. It is the admin, the communication, and the gap between what was sold and what turns up.

The person you assessed is the person who turns up

No bait and switch. Associates are matched to the engagement, not pulled from a bench that needs clearing.

IR35 determination before you commit

Inside or outside, stated clearly before any work starts. No ambiguity and no pressure in either direction.

Transparent commercial terms

Day rate, statement of work, retainer or fixed price. You see the cost structure before you agree to it, not afterwards.

One point of contact

A named account lead who knows the engagement, rather than a rotaing account management layer between you and the person doing the work.

Scales to the work

A full multi-discipline team for a programme, or one experienced pair of hands for three days a week. The team size follows the problem, not a contract minimum.

Handover built in

Capability transfer is part of how we scope work. We would rather be re-engaged for the next problem than kept for this one.

Two ways to engage

The same discipline, sized to the problem

A department running a multi-supplier programme and an owner running a studio need very different things from us. What does not change is how we work.

Enterprise and government

For programmes with a board, a business case and consequences

Interim and fractional leads, discovery through to live, working within the Service Standard and assessment process where it applies. Associates matched to the role and the clearance level.

  • Product, delivery, data and transformation leads
  • Programme assurance and governance reporting
  • Data governance, migration and master data
  • AI adoption with audit trail and measurable ROI
Enterprise and public sector
Startups and small businesses

For owners who are also the whole delivery team

Same practitioners, scaled right down. Scope agreed up front, a price you see before work starts, and a person you can actually ring.

  • Websites, booking and payments
  • Practical automation for the admin that eats your evenings
  • Monthly retainer instead of a project you cannot budget for
  • Plain English throughout

Common questions

The things clients ask before they commit

How quickly can you place someone?
It depends on the role and the clearance level. For a straightforward engagement with no security vetting, we can usually have someone ready within a week or two. Where BPSS, SC or DV clearance is needed, we will tell you what the timeline looks like and not pretend otherwise.
What disciplines do you cover?
Product management and product ownership, delivery and programme management, business analysis, service design, data and migration specialists, and technical leads for web and integration work. If your requirement falls outside that list, ask: we may know someone through the network even if we do not carry them on our books.
Inside or outside IR35?
Both, depending on the shape of the engagement. We state the determination before anything starts and we do not push associates towards one or the other. If you need the engagement to be inside IR35, we will say so plainly rather than leaving it ambiguous.
How does pricing work?
Day rate for individual placements, fixed price or retainer for managed service engagements. You see the rate or the quote before work starts, and there are no fees hidden behind it. If the budget is tight, tell us: a smaller scope at a rate you can afford is usually better for everyone than an overstretched one.
What if it is not working?
Tell us early. The whole point of staging commitments is that there are natural review points. If the person is wrong for the role, we will say so before you have to, and we will fix it rather than defending the decision.

Start here

Tell us what you need. We will tell you honestly whether we are the right people.

A thirty minute call, no pitch deck. If the answer is that you need something we do not do, we will say so and point you somewhere better.
